What is this project about?

Harbingers of Agony is a reimagining of the traditional Tell card game, themed around the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. The Book of Grim Chronicles contains the stories behind each card.

Where and when will the project launch?

The project will launch on Kickstarter this fall.

How many cards are in the deck?

The deck contains 32 cards.

What games can I play with this deck?

We’ve included over 7 traditional games taught by our ancestors, provided as a PDF with every pledge. We also welcome your game ideas!

How can I get the poster?

You will receive the poster if you pledge for a tier that includes it as a physical reward during the Kickstarter campaign. Posters are available in the following tiers: The Steady Fire, The Flickering Flame, and The First Spark. Products will only be shipped if the project is successfully funded. If the funding goal is not met, no items will be sent, and your Kickstarter payment will not be processed. The cost associated with these tiers is non-refundable, even if the project does not get funded. Shipping information will be collected directly through Kickstarter.

Can I see the cards before pledging?

Yes, you can preview some of the cards on our Kickstarter page and in the demo video. We won’t show everything to avoid spoilers, but enough to convey the theme and mood.

When will I receive my poster?

The poster will be sent after the Kickstarter campaign is successfully funded. Once funding is secured, we will begin the production process for the book, card decks, and posters. You can find the planned timeline on our Kickstarter page, which we aim to follow closely. Your poster will be shipped together with the other items you ordered through Kickstarter.

Will the poster increase my shipping cost?

No, the poster is included in your pledge without additional shipping costs.

Can I get a refund if the project isn’t funded?

If the project does not reach its funding goal, no items will be produced or shipped, and your Kickstarter payment will not be processed. However, the costs associated with any pre-campaign purchases or tiers are non-refundable, even if the project is not funded.

Why should I use the same email for Kickstarter and pre-campaign purchases?

Using the same email ensures that we can accurately match your details across platforms and deliver your rewards smoothly, whether they come from pre-campaign purchases or tiers chosen during the Kickstarter campaign.

What if my email changes between pre-campaign purchase and Kickstarter?

We will send you an email before the campaign starts, allowing you to update your email if necessary. If you encounter any issues accessing your original email, please reach out to us via email or through any of our social media platforms, and we will assist you in updating your details.

What are the Early Bird rewards?

Early Bird rewards offer up to 60% discounts for those who support the project within the first 72 hours, available in limited quantities. If you have submitted your email or made a pre-campaign purchase, we will notify you via email before the campaign launch, so you can secure these discounts when the campaign begins.

How will I be updated about the project?

All backers will receive regular updates via email.

Will pre-campaign purchases affect my tier or shipping?

No, pre-campaign purchases are separate early supporter rewards and do not change your pledge tier or shipping arrangements. The poster will be automatically included in your order without appearing separately on the Kickstarter platform.

What currency will the prices be in on Kickstarter?

Prices will be in CAD (Canadian dollars), but approximate USD prices will be shown as well.

Will the digital wallpapers be available in other formats?

Currently, the wallpapers are created in UHD 2560x1440p, with a 16:9 aspect ratio. If you need different sizes or ratios, please contact us, and we can consider additional formats.
